What is COB Neon led strip light?
Neon cob led strip light is a professional linear lighting solution that adopts high-density COB (Chip on Board) technology, integrating a large number of micro LED chips directly onto a single substrate and combining them with an integrally molded flexible silicone neon diffuser to deliver a continuous, uniform, and dot-free linear light output. Thanks to its much higher chip density compared with traditional SMD LED strips, COB neon light strips effectively eliminate light spots and dark gaps, producing a smoother and softer lighting effect while reducing glare and enhancing visual comfort. The silicone encapsulation not only provides excellent optical diffusion, but also offers dust resistance, moisture protection, and a certain level of waterproof performance. Typically powered by 12V / 24V low-voltage constant-voltage input, COB neon LED strip ensure safe and stable operation, and support bending, cutting, and custom lengths, making them easy to adapt to straight lines, corners, and irregular installation structures.

How to set up the COB Neon LED Strip
The COB LED neon light strip operates on a DC 12V / 24V constant-voltage power supply and must be connected to a matching constant-voltage LED driver. Connect the power supply positive (V+) to the strip positive terminal and the negative (V–) to the strip negative terminal. For dimming or lighting control, a PWM dimmer or smart controller can be installed in series between the power supply and the LED strip. The 12V version is suitable for shorter runs or lower power applications, while the 24V version is recommended for longer installations to reduce voltage drop and maintain uniform brightness, ensuring safe, stable and reliable operation.
