How to set up the SMD LED Strip
S Shape flex led strip lights have three connection types: single-color strips only require connecting the positive and negative terminals directly to the power supply, making the wiring very simple; RGB strips usually come with a 4-pin interface (common anode + RGB channels), which should be connected to an RGB controller before linking to the power supply for color changes; while Addressable RGB strips include an independent signal line, typically with 3 or 4 pins (power + ground + data/clock), and must be connected to a dedicated SPI or IC controller to achieve pixel-by-pixel control and dynamic effects. This setup is more complex but delivers richer lighting effects.
