What is Top Bend Neon Strip?
Top Bend neon led strip is a flexible lighting solution designed to bend vertically, making it ideal for building outlines, illuminated signage, light boxes, and other vertical lighting applications.LED Top bend neon strip lights features smooth, uniform illumination with no visible light dots, and is encased in durable silicone or PVC for excellent flexibility and weather resistance. 1. Raw material preparation
Purchase LED chips (high brightness chips), FPCB flexible boards, silicone rubber materials, conductive wires, connector accessories, etc. Inspect the quality of incoming materials to ensure that all components meet performance standards (such as brightness, voltage, fire rating, etc.).
2. Surface mount technology (SMT)
Attach LED chips and electronic components onto the FPCB flexible circuit board. Use reflow soldering technology to solder components to ensure reliable electrical connections.
3. Welding and Testing
Weld the wire (power cord) onto the FPCB. Preliminary lighting test to check for solder leaks and dead lights in the lamp beads.
4. Encapsulation/ Extrusion coating
Using a Top bend silicone extrusion molding process, the entire FPCB is wrapped in silicone. Simultaneously complete the shaping and curing of the light strip, ensuring its flexibility, weather resistance, and uniformity of light.
5. Cutting and welding the tail
Cut according to customer requirements and weld the tail seal or joint.
6. Waterproof treatment
Waterproof sealing treatment shall be applied to the joint and tail of the light strip. Some models support IP67~IP68 waterproof rating and require special pressure testing.
7. Aging test
Turn on the light strip for long-term aging (usually 4-8 hours) to test its stability and heat dissipation performance.
8. Quality Inspection and Packaging
Comprehensive quality inspection (appearance, brightness, voltage, current, waterproof performance, etc.). After passing the inspection, proceed with packaging steps such as winding, labeling, bagging, and sealing.

The Connection of Top Bend Neon Strip
The wiring of Top Bend neon led tape varies depending on the color type. Single-color strips typically have two wires, positive and negative, making them simple to connect. Dual-color strips usually feature three wires—two positive wires for each color and a common negative—allowing easy switching between two colors. RGB strips have four wires: red, green, blue positive wires, and a common negative, enabling multi-color effects by controlling each color channel. RGBW strips add an extra white positive wire on top of the RGB configuration, totaling five wires, which provides richer lighting and purer white light. For all types, it is essential to match the voltage correctly and observe proper polarity. Additionally, using compatible controllers and power supplies ensures stable operation and optimal lighting performance.
